This year’s Trunk-or-Treat and Food Drive was another great success!  Together, we collected about 100 pounds of food and raised $10 for Just Food Douglas County. Even though $10 doesn’t sound like a lot, it is enough to provide 50 meals to food insecure residents of Douglas County.

AND, we had a great variety of trunks and booths with games and treats to delight kids and adult. There were many cute, scary, creative and crazy costumes on display.   Everyone did a fantastic job of getting in the mood for Halloween and the voting for best costumes and trunk/booth entries was very close! Winners can claim their Certificate by coming to the November 17th PNA meeting (10:00 am at the Bert Nash Center) or by contacting PNA at If you know who one of the “unknown” winners is, please let them know so they can claim their certificate!

And last but not least – remember that midnight Sunday November 11th is the deadline to submit your photos to the Pinckney Fall Photo Invitational. We’ll have a slide show with all entries at the November 17th PNA meeting and post the photo gallery on our website.
