Getting to the event…

  • Consider biking to Burcham or walking to try to alleviate some of the traffic congestion.
  • Off-site parking – A Shuttle Bus will pick-up at the Library parking garage and drop off at Burcham Park and run a continuous route from 4:30-11
  • Avoid Indiana Street – If driving, consider turning on another street beside Indiana.
  • Parking – The flat grassy area near the hill in Sandra Shaw will be used for ($10) paid parking
  • Free ADA Parking – The gravel parking lot behind the water treatment plant will be used for ADA parking.

Other things to consider…

  • Can you bring chairs to the event? Yes, you may bring a folding chair, camping chair or blanket to sit on for the event.
  • Are Pets allowed? No. We love our pets, but due to the nature of the event and the stimulus involved with a Fireworks show, we can’t allow Pets. (We will allow tagged support animals)

Cleanup after the event

  • Event staff will perform park/parking clean-up on the night of the 4th.
  • Event staff will also have a second crew coming in on July 5th at 10 am to do a 3hr walk around the neighborhood.  Any neighborhood help is welcome and appreciated!
  • Police will be patrolling the neighborhood and have a presence at the park.  We’re hoping for no fender benders.
